ANNUAL LECTURE – ‘The Paranormal’
Wednesday November 27th at 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Chris’ talk will cover the psychology of ‘paranormal’ experiences from a sceptical perspective. This area of learning is called Anomalistic Psychology and it is the study of extraordinary experiences. Those experiences that are labelled either paranormal or supernatural, so it includes anything to do with ghosts, UFOS, aliens, angels and the healing touch etc – Prepare to be intrigued !
Chris is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and of the Committee for Sceptical Inquiry and has published over 150 articles and chapters covering a wide range of topics within psychology. He has also co-authored Anomalistic Psychology – Exploring Paranormal Belief and Experience – with Anna Stone.
