Portsdown U3A

About Us

Portsdown U3A belongs to the Third Age Trust whose main purpose is to encourage lifelong learning for those no longer in full time employment.

U3A VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

Retired and semi retired people come together and learn together not for qualifications but for the sheer joy of discovery.

Most activities are organised in small groups, mainly in members’ homes, where the members share skills and life experiences.

You can participate in as many available activities as you wish.

There is a programme of monthly meetings held at Cosham Baptist Church, Havant Road on the third Wednesday of the month from 2:00 pm  to 3:30 pm (includes tea and coffee).

Meetings are free to members but non members pay £2 per meeting. This is the opportunity to meet other members, listen to a speaker on a topic of general interest and discover what else the U3A is up to.

Membership of Portsdown U3A costs £16 per annum and the subscription year runs from March.
