WHO ARE WE? |
|
We are a group of people, who have recently
set up a new branch of the University of the Third Age, (U3A),
in the north of Portsmouth. |
|
WHAT IS THE U3A? |
|
It is an organisation run by, and for, those over 50 who have
an enthusiasm for learning and a mind open to new ideas. The aim
is for everyone to have the opportunity to participate and
broaden their interests, knowledge and experience. The key to
the U3A is participation so your suggestions are welcomed and
subjects already up and running includes Mah Jong, Reading Club,
Local History, Strolling, Rambling and Bridge. |

WHAT DOES IT COST? |
|
Subscription is £15 a year although there may be incidentals such as entrance fees, travel, etc. |
